Selected by Ian Hylands - Just because it's snowy outside doesn't mean you can't go and throw down some sick stuff at the park. Especially in Canada. This sequence of Tom doing a fronty and then a truck proves it, and it's not even sunny outside....
"It's almost sad that a superflip photo has become fairly common now." - Ian Hylands on the Photo of the Day for March 2, 2012
I'm just saying that we look at one of these and go, "Oh yeah that's cool," where back in the day when a POD was just some guy doing a ten foot drop, something like this would be mad awesome and require balls of post-weld heat-treated chromoly steel.
@trozei I agree with you but the world's moving forward, to stick out you need to push the boundaries, and it doesn't look like anyone's going to stop pushing any time soon!
fronts and trucks aren't that much fun anyways. All you do is flip or spin and it's over. No one wants to see that.
Now I can do this thing with my bike where I tilt it ever so slightly and I get this sorta half-table tweak-ish thing, but if you squint your eyes and look at an angle it looks so cool. We need more of that
@trozei i totally get what you mean bro. i dont think there is any limit though. all you need is an open mind and this sport will just keep getting gnarlier and gnarlier. i sure as hell cant keep up.
