Haha. The guys at the shop were saying I should get that instead. But they're all confident in this one, plus I have a very detailed receipt and Chromag is apparently good to deal with. OGC was dropping the ball so fucking hard on the Easton, I didn't want to potentially go through it again.
I took it off my bike actually. It slipped a bit, I had to tighten it so hard one of the bolts bent (my own fault of course, but it wasn't cutting it otherwise), and it is quite flexy. Bearing in mind it's an all-mountain stem I'm not mad, just I'll be saving it for a different bike. Of course you own one now so my review is useless. Looks amazing on your bike though.
I have felt the flex ,that might be a combination of flexy old topsoils and an am fork,and some creaking but no slipping yet (touch wood). Back on the ssc for now?
