At the risk of sounding like a loser; I trim the grass on the jumps by hand with scissors. I get rid of the bare minimum amount of grass that I need to so it doesn't get in the way, but also so they are super grassy everywhere except where we ride.

 Massive respect for being so dedicated, but I lol'd at the grass trimming by hand

 I don't have a proper weed trimmer up there.

 I have an extra one laying around somewhere, works mint too
