That's a fairly ignorant statement, I've met many, but that's ignorant yet. I've met remnants of what used to be the first nation, but if you study a bit of history, you'd know what a fierce nation of people they were, varying by region. None of what we know today to be aboriginals today are fair basis for judging what was.
I wont defend the actions or ideals of the now "First Nations" people, however that wasn't my point, because their ideas of how things should be have diluted into some hypocritical politics. My point is, and remains as stands, that they lost their entire continent, their way of life, and their people, because of our ancestors, in regards to the 2nd and 3rd comments in this line about how they have it good.
The Sho-ban indians around here man are not even close to those that were abused by the english and that is what I am basing my statement on. I have not met a NA here that is what they once were, meaning they are a people that just seem to be complacent in the dumps that they live in and rob from one another UNTIL they get their government checks and blow it all on HUMMERS (H1) , GOLD SPRAY CANS, AND booze. Sorry if ignorance is what seems to appear in my comment but that is my experience with the locals around here. Sorry for the offence if there was any. I am in the building industry here and you would not believe the thievery and stripping of wire in the new houses that happens. Once again, all from local experience and I am sure there are some respectable folks but they seem harder find the alternative. No offence but the post of the pic was ment as a joke so leave it at that
Okay but as I'll reiterate, this was nothing about your picture or what was said about those you have met or witnessed in current time. Simply put, they lost their entire nation, so we really can't complain if they want to spend the last of their days withering away.
