Even to even number of teeth or odd to odd gives a number that ends with an eighth, odd to to even gives number that gives a half ending, adding a half link to either adds a quarter inch. 28 13 should be slammable, or at least really close depending on chain stretch.

 I was kinda hoping on 22, 10

A good chain will have a 16th stretch, and the slope of the chain takes up that slack. you could go 13.875 with that ratio. A 23 tooth sprocket should do the trick... and you'd need a half link.

Could always have it ground down to 13 5/8 and it would slam perfectly no half link. Don't know the exact radius of a mac 2, but it is probably at least an eighth shorter than the 2.1 SB8 I used to find clearance. doubt it would fit at 13.5 though, sooo...

I would laugh if you couldn't get a gear ratio that keeps it slammed.

Yeah. Well there must be something. Anyone have that link to the website that lets you calculate it?

Typically you want a 55" distance travelled vs complete rotation of crank.

At least this is how most classic BMX's where specked.

Easiest way to do this is as follows.

(T front sprocket * wheel diameter) = (55" * T rear cog)

this way you can see what kinda of gear ratio's would best suite your needs. a 55" traveled distance per stroke is pretty standard, I wouldn't go over 60" and I wouldn't go under 55"

Here are a good general list for 26" wheels that I would and have run in the past

Front Sprocket* rear Sprocket
32 * 15
30 * 14 (feasable with a Raceface NW 30t on a standard 104 BCD mtb crank) (smallest possible with 104 bcd cranks)
28 * 13
26 * 12 (perfect for shimano splined casset hubs limiting you to 12 t cog, with a bmx crank up front) (smallest possible without need a bmx driver rear hub)
25 * 11 or 12
22 * 10 (rode this before, was friggen so bad ass looking but wore out my profile Ti driver in 2 months, needed half link for such aggressive angle of contact with chain wipping around cog)

Also, if you run a standard mtb rear hub than you can get away with an adjustable chainline, this allows you to spacer you front sprocket out far from your frame so you don't have any clearance issues. Than you can space your sprocket on the shimano splined freehub body just about where ever you want.

 Can't lie I like a hard gearing. I run a 31-12 gearing. Comes out to be a 67.17
