Good morning Suspended! I am so Happy that you four talented and handsome boys (especially the tall one!) give me a reason to work out in the morning. You provide 15 grams of stoke per serving, mixed with rad riding and killer cinematography, blended with cold water until lumps disintegrate. I then pour that power-stoke workout mix into a large pitcher, which I then pour into a funnel which is inserted into my anus for maximum gnar absorption.
Definitely some photoshop, I don't think its possible to get the stars that well without an exposure shot, has to be stitched. But does it even matter? Looks amazing.
Awesome shot. I'm pretty sure none of them are stars however. I believe it all to be dust. The fact that it looks like he's jumping across a galaxy is amazing though.
The POD from a few days ago of the guy riding across the arch is another example of a long exposure shot that allows stars to be exposed properly, while also freezing the action with timed strobes. However, the EXIF shows that this shot was only 1/100s, meaning the specks are dust, not stars, in this case.
oh my god.. everyone is a bitch about how the shot is taken and that its photo shopped.. this is such a nice looking photo so well done i love it, new desktop back ground for sure!
Okay everyone... It's not photo shop. I don't use photoshop I use LR4 nothing really done to the shot but clarity and sharpening! (what's the point to take a photo If ur gonna ruin it with post processing) Yes those are dust particles in the sky not stars. It was taken at almost pitch black and lit with two flashes. One to light the dust and one for the rider.
This is beautiful work. I actually dont feel qualified enogh to point out all of the aspects of this photo that make it technically superb, so all I can really say is holy frakin crap, you knocked it out of the box!!! POY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
very nice shot . but cant see that being shot in the darkness with a 100th of a second shutter speed. unless it was shot in near daylight and edited . still very good
what Ive been thinking is they threw some dirt right in front of the rider so when he rode past he literally rode through the dirt and that seems to be the reason for all the flicked rocks going in the direction right. The rider smashed through the thrown dirt and hit some rocks across the screen...Love to know if that dirt was thrown before he rode through it, or if it's actual dirt from the ground being tossed up from speed....?
The very far right portion of the dust cloud strongly resembles the eerie silouhette of a 'ghost rider'. Look closley, and I think you will determine the answer to your query.
