Cam McCaul has been coming off on an injury for about a month (Cam crashed out of the Claymore Challenge back on July 19), and until the first day of practice, he had not been on a bike in what must have felt like a thousand years--recovering from an injury takes time, and Cam's not at full gas right now, so taking third was a fantastic ride for the Trek/Fox/Rockstar rider.
