First, this bike is absolutely incredible. But I can't get past the seat either! The post is way laid back, and then the seat is all the way forward on the rails! But I guess after 20 years of mountain biking hero-ism, I will never question why Steve Peat would do anything. I will just shake my head at his seat.

 When ur 6 foot plus the angle of the seat tube and the seat pushed all the way forward is to stop it snapping. I no this as i have Steve's v10 from last year and the set up is the same yes it don't look right but when ur as tall as me god it helps. Lol...

 in terms of looks, fuck yeah but in terms of geometry i agree with scottrallye, it would be uncomfortable for me to imagine riding on- but the seat tube angle does really depend on the particular course and the riders body and stance no matter what this build is a great honor to the legendary steve peat
