I figured I would post this in response to no respect for Hyper bikes, while Im not a huge fan, they have been consistent for a long time in BMX, and have had Eric Crater on the payroll for quite sometime. Hyper Bicycles, Inc. was established in 1990 by former BMX Pro Clay Goldsmid. Initially the company produced high end BMX Racing frames and components. The company also established an ongoing commitment to supporting Riders and the sport through sponsorships of individuals and Teams. One of the first Riders to benefit from Hyper sponsorship was Eric Carter, who helped position Hyper as a leader in BMX by capturing a National Championship and being an excellent spokesperson and promoter of the brand. Eric moved on to a stellar career in Mountain Biking, while Hyper continued to develop BMX products and began exploring an expanded position in the marketplace. With a long history of active, successful participation in BMX, it was time to establish a similar position in the Mountain Bike community. The obvious best choice to manage our entry into the Mountain Biking was longtime friend and MTB legend Eric Carter. Eric is currently heading up our Product Development Program and is organizing our marketing and support efforts. Eric has already committed to a schedule of events, races and other promotional opportunities to provide visibility to our effort and create the foundation for Hyper Bicycles continued involvement in Mountain Biking. Hyper plans to support and promote Mountain Biking by producing top quality products for Racers and enthusiasts. The company is seeking industry partners that share our vision of support and commitment to producing high quality, high performance products.

Don't care if Zink rides them or not. Some bike brands like Banshee, Cove, GT, Ellsworth, Rocky Mountain etc earn respect from hard work, coming from no where, truly supporting the sport through events, small rider promotion and so forth but this company ..Hyper has earned no respect ..means a dollar sign and is the child of mass corporation and money ..nothing more then money. I know from a rider prospective like Zink it would be better to have a large bike manufacture sponsor you for reasons of endless frames (Not a good thing) Air fare, travel expenses and so on but that's not going to make a bike company have roots in the mountain bike world. I also understand some kids don't have large amounts of money and maybe having a rider to look up to that rides these low cost bikes is good, but it's just false image. Like these 200 zeller specials will really hold up. It's called second hand kids.

Also no hate towards Zink at all by no means, he truly is a great rider and a great person. I guess to sum it up I hate corporations trying to fit there fats heads in everywhere. I work so hard in life to enjoy the sport I do and I know some companys do the same to produce the equipment I ride on. In other words, know what you ride ..and Ride On!

I think Zink likes to ride sub-par bikes just to show the kids it can be done on anything. Smile
