I think the driving physics are more arcade style compared to motorsport, but tbh I think it fits the game fine. I usually run with assists off (apart from abs), but if you get into the high powered super cars, or tune cars to ridiculous hp figues (1000+ from an old skyline + rwd) the car will skid, slide and spin like you would expect it to, so I use assists on for any big hp stuff. I would say its worth getting, give it a few races and hours driving to get used to it, and you'l enjoy it, its not a motorsport replacement, but it works and is fun.
