I got sponsored by a local bike shop and I got this from them, and my TR250 went to my brother.
Ok so TR250 vs Commencal... here is my take:
The TR250 is a very fun playful freeride bike, but when i rode it i did notice so setbacks like not feeling very stable in rock gardens or just really gnarly sections. You cant expect it to handle like a DH bike because that is not what it is, but it defiantly does better on the A-line style trails with smooth jumps and drops. Now the Commencal Supreme FR handles awesome! It is just as playful to me as the TR but, it handles the downhill gnarly sections amazingly... It has a much longer wheelbase than the TR and also has a 64 degree head angle. So if you are going to be riding freeride trails AND DH trails, go with the Commencal. If you are riding freeride features and light DH go with the TR.
