 This shot just brought this crazy emotional wave over me. Stunningly beautiful! The lighting is incredible! I could see this as being a strong contender for this year's POY contest. Already has one of my votes reserved!

 This is a very awesome shot, but could it not have waited until tomorrow as I think POD today should obviously be one of the many amazing photos of Steve Smith which were snapped on this monumental weekend for Canadian mountain biking. Just my 2cents but this is a fantastic shot.

 No... Because this is the very REASON Steve Smith has a sport such as downhill, much less bikes and tech to match;
The mountain bike was developed because of this way of riding, and branched from there.
Frankly, this is also a good way to relax after such a high stakes weekend too!

 what a great shot. I cant believe the grass grows right to the edge. out here the wind cleans a ridge edge like that clear of any foliage or dirt at all. thanks for posting such a pic.

 How the heck does he even get there? Is this like some ride where they drop you off by helicopter? Or is there a trail following the ridgeline? That's fricken insane! Its like he's riding back to that big white city to warn Gandalf that the orc army is coming. Peter Jackson eat your heart out.
