It's funny, you tape up your bike and stuff to protect it, which is the smart thing to do. Everyone else is just dgaf'ing and just let their frame go to absolute waste, the stupid thing. Some time down the road you and me will still have pristine frames free of dents, scuffs, scrapes, etc. Then, I love it when you see those people selling those absolutely destroyed frames from all the rock strikes/dents over the year, yet it was the easiest thing to prevent. Speaks volumes of a person's capability to think down the road...

If you want me to make you a custom DT guard out a sheet aluminum let me know! Just put some 3m tape on the bottom, then put velcro over it and slap the DT guard on tharrrr.

Actually it's there because i flipped the bike over one day and realized i put two dents in front of the BB. lol

 Insert "Facepalm.jpg"

Yeah putting tape over it actually helps spread out structural stress away from the dents.... Wink But really, I'll make you one and it'll look clean.
  • 1 0
No, tape prevents more dents from occuring... Facepalm
  • 1 0
 Bro wtf are you on.

WE ALL KNOW WHEN YOU WRAP TAPE AROUND DENTS YOU ARE REALLY TIGHTENING/COMPRESSING THE TUBING SO MUCH THAT STRESS LOADS MITIGATES TO OTHER SECTIONS OF THE TUBING. Duh.

Frame building, design, and theory 101.

I'm never buying another E-13, their CS sucks and their warranty policies are comical. using a non-approved chainlube voids your warranty, seriously?
  • 1 0
I've never had problems with E13 cs, they're always very nice about stuff and gave me a free taco!
  • 1 0
they almost refused to warranty circes one until she flipped a bitch at the sea otter.
  • 1 0
Have you personally had issues with them?

I guess it's just easier to get warranty up here because everyone is super chill.

They weren't at all helpful when I wanted to them about their guides. (in person at AT's showdown)
