I'm sure they'll be people along soon complaining about the noise and their being much better shots on pinkbike, but good shot! Needs to be more lesser-known photographer PODs!

 agreed

Not necessarily because the noise is a part of black and white photography

It's not part of black and white photography necessarily, but a high ISO gives B&W photos a grainy, film-like effect which I love.

That's why they are well known. It's how they make their living and it shows.

 yeah, get some!

feels like weve had a lot of these kind of PODs if ya get what I mean, I have no problem with it, I love all these shots with this kind of dope angle

PB really should start making posters out of at least some of these PODs, I wouldn't mind putting this one up in my place.

Every photo of the month should be made into a poster and put on the pinkbike store!

Pinkbike listen to this dude. I would buy every "pod poster"

Same. Only biking posters I ever seen come in a decline magazine and they're all company promotion posters. It would be nice to have my wall covered in biking pictures of not just the sponsored pros.

SDKmann has the right idea, i would buy several.

Yeah, I would buy loads. Problem is how the hell would I sleep at night! every time I opened my eyes I would get up and go outside for a bike ride...

This right here. The people have spoken! Or at least a few...

Wicked shot. Love how the graininess adds to the almost "amateur" aspect of the rider. As if it's saying that we don't care it's grainy, we don't care it's b&w (which I love, btw) we don't care there's noise all over the place - I'm just a random oke. Pinning it.

I think the exposure is smack on for the high iso of 3200,pulling anymore shadows,hi lights would just introduce to much noise to the shot. Well timed shot, more like this please.

Nie wiem czy gratulować riderowi czy fotografowi więc... brawo Wam obu Mikołaj i Shieffa Smile

Awesome shot! Maybe could've brightened up the foreground but other than that awesome timing!

nice! what lens are you using? one of the canon 70-200mm L series?
  • 6 0
I wish I had one of those! But unfortunately it's only an old Carl Zeiss 135mm f3.5 for m42 standard. But I can't complain about that lens, works fine for me Smile

Does it take a lot of trial and error to focus? I have a tamron 135mm f/2.5 that I have to use more often
