I'm afraid transitionbandit is right mate, a hole is not cosmetic damage and these aren't worth £550. www.pinkbike.com/buysell/1285475 they sold for £15 pound more than your asking with a couple of scuffs at a few months old. I'd come and pick these up with cash for £300.

The point is there is no hole in the forks anymore, they are refurbished. I would be very surprised if the area that has been resealed ever caused anyone any problems, yeah there is a very slight bit of a mismatch going on with the resprayed white and the original white but other than that nobody will ever be any the wiser.
Why should I sell you something I paid £800 for for £300 after 4 rides so you can buy new lowers for £120 and have a new fork, be it without a warranty but with an upgraded EVO v2,0 cartridge, for £420? I have had plenty interest in them without people having to feel the need to publicly voice there criticism. I am now thinking of keeping them, they are leap years ahead of the float I bought in terms of performance.
Like it says in the ad I am open to offers but £300 is a ridiculous offer, I saw that ad this morning and it made me think about repricing the fork but do you really think if I rejected an offer of £350 I am going to accept an offer of £300.
Think I will just get a hardtail frame, stick the floats on that and go back to these on the big bike so I no longer have to read ridiculous offers.

Nice forks, shame about the defect..I'd pay £350 for these?

Sorry, no chance. The defect truly is cosmetic, it will never cause you any grief. I can't take a £550 hit for what is essentially a cosmetic defect, a sticker over it and nobody would ever be the wiser but I'm being honest in the ad.

Well, sure but its still a hole in the fork! Smile - Don't mean to be rude but thats not exactly a cosmetic thing anymore..

Also did the crash effect the cartridge or was it just a warranty issue so early in its life?

I know I know, but I still feel £300 off the fork from new is a fair price deduction considering it is still in full working order. The cartridge issue was there from day 1, the rebound wasn't working properly. I had sent them to them before but they told me they were fine in the dyno, so when i sent them back again I insisted and they changed the cartridge, now the rebound feels as I would expect it to.
