No one's going to pay 1,000 Euros for a brake system when they could get a far cheaper one that does its job perfectly.

Maybe if you payed 5000 Eur for the frame, 2000 eur for BOS fork and shock, 1500 eur for a wheelset. You need something adequately bling...

@ trozei: Perfectly or maybe even better. I guess that you're paying the brand ed exclusivity. For example, those two bolts that clap the lever to the bars are not practical at all, and the brakes look heavy.

Being hex bolts makes them impractical. Why don't they use that kind of bolts that almost every component on a bike use, which are tightened by hex keys (I can't find the proper term)

Allan key.
There's nothing wrong with using a hex bolt. It's more moto anyway, which translates to a bit of a Brembo tradition or common practice.
