If you want a plush, reliable DH fork this is the one. I hope they continue to make it in a coil version forever. I have two friends with this fork that have owned it for over 4 and 5 years respectively with no maintenance at all and they still feel fine.

 Ya I have owned 3 diff 888s all coils, all from italy. The ones I sold are still going strong and mine is a freaking beast. 2007 the 888 was at its longest axle to crown. Alot of people dont know marz was changing that up every year. My 2007 coil is the shiz, factory direct, italian stalion came with a tray of ziti. This my fork for life, was considering and avalanche cart upgrade but the italian carts are soo good why bother. Heard mad problems with the taiwan models and air, good luck with those. People stop me on the mtn oh I wish I would have kept my 2007 888 that was best year. Oh well mine not for sale, riding this one to the grave.
