 It's exactly the opposite. They are NS Aerial sealed pedals. The grip is fantastic. The pins have thread on the outside, and they have a pretty good platform too. I would gladly buy them again.

 Yeah I don't know. If I run the sprocket further in, the chainline is way off.
It's a little annoying, but it makes no difference when you ride it

 You could try running the front chainring on the inside of the spider instead of the outside. Then moving the rear sprocket in a bit. Looks great anyway though.

I want to try Willy's method using brake cleaner and a rag. It looks pretty effective, and it's permanent.

 it wont work on the "ikon" or "race king" logos though due to the white backing thats impossible to get off

 You can still get rid of the big maxxis logo, just not the small ones with the tire name.

 I currently can't ride I'm just coming back from a dislocated shoulder, and since I live in the southern hemisphere, we are heading into winter
But yeah. I am planning to build some jumps over winter, just finding somewhere is going to be the issue.
