I really like this frame - much nicer than the previous Iron horses I had seen,
I'd prefer less of a rake being more of a freerider but very nice Smile

It rides really well, similar to the old Sunday, but less pedal bounce in the rear, feels more like a freeride bike. Loving it.

Actually now that I look at it again it doesn't look so bad of a rake lol
Maybe my head was sideways haha.
How are you like the I-beam saddles? I don't think I would trust the clamping mechanism for my self - they are strong?

Its about 63 degree HA, original Sunday was 65 I think... its got a 2 degree reducer in the head. I bounce between a conventional seat and the iBeam... it moved a bit at the start, but with extra tightening its fine. Benefit is its lack of weight... not sure if would survive a decent impact though!

This thing is absolutely beautiful man. How does the ICT link compare to the DW Link?

whats the story behind this bike and did you sell it?

No I am happily riding it, love it, more than my old Sunday, and everybody that rides it is impressed. I think the story is that 2 of these frames were made as prototypes for 2010 production using ICT link system... I picked it up off ebay and have since built it up to my riding specs. Its a very similar looking suspension system to the Trek sessions, has limited pedal bob and corners well. Basically its a hell of lot of fun to ride.

Wow you are so lucky, how is the riding around Auckland? My Mother is Auckland born and raised and NZ is my favorite country in the world, so I might come down for Christmas

Riding around Auckland is great and getting better. I live out in Beachlands and we have a heap of trails up in our local forest, about a 10 minute drive. We run regular shuttles during summer and have some great DH and AM riding. And about 25 mins away in Kawa Kawa Bay there is a big gravity park being built by a local, $100,000s dollars going into it, full time shuttle service . The idea being that it will rival or be better than Rotorua. So all in all, not bad riding really!!
Actually the more I research the suspension system on that Sunday the more it doesn't look like ICT, the shock kinda floats as its linked directly to the pivots.... interesting!
