Wow.. May I ask what the geo is on this? I know you said BB drop and short stays, but how about HA and the TT length? It seems to have a geo like my Last Rufus, but 2.5 pounds lighter LOL
Hahaha the only difference between my frame's geo and your's with the same a2c is the seat tube angle (73.2°), BB drop (-15mm), and the weight (6.4lbs)! Why go for 31.6mm seat posts though? I've been riding the frame with the fork at 100mm and it feels pretty good on the jumps; definitely going to drop it to 80mm and see how it feels
That's true. I wonder if there's ANY detail you missed.. And I was under the impression that 30.9mm posts were more common.. Also, was this all Will's geo or was it a sort of collaboration to come up with this geo?
30.9 is common on dh bikes yes. Wills geo for sure I don't think I tweaked much I just worked with it. Hence the seat tube penetrating the downtube for some slam clearance giggity
Check out our album of his frame raw
Chose the seat tube size because 1: i had the right sized clamps and posts already, no point going out and buying all new ones. 2: because as said, it looks much nicer against the massive tubing.
