It's like a game of 'Spot The Bike Stand'!

someone's hand.... they just let go of the back wheel and move their hand quickly out of frame, when someone else snaps the pic, then grabs it again before it falls

Way to ruin the dream of it being some kind of crazy giro gubbins inside the frame Frown

that would be sweet though, you could turn it up in tech sections, to keep the bike more stable, and turn it down in the corners, to allow the rider to rail it

There is room between the spokes for a flywheel Smile

I've always wondered how they make bikes stand like that! Hermit185 just pissed on my campfire.

sorry about your campfire, ive seen several photos done improperly with a blurred hand leaving the frame from the rear wheel

You you prop it up with a stick on the rear pedal, then hide it behind the wheel.

They could use a belt instead the chain... Would be intersting....

The bike as built is 38 LBS a size LG. It is about 1.5-2 LBS heavier than a SAINT Set-up would be BTW....

 Weight?

The gearboxes might be cool but it seems like they'd add a lot of weight
  • 2 1
not asking for hate here... but having a gear box means no rear derailleur , no cassette , so the weight that you gain by having a gear box isant so much when you minus out so 7 or 800 grams from the cassette and derailleur.

but there still is a shifter and it's likely heavier than a 10spd x0. you're also adding a second chain. i'd be willing to bet that it's 2-3lbs heavier than a derailleur setup.

but the weight isn't on the rear axle so you probably wont feel it as much

But I could lace a wheel with an internally geared hub, mated to an internally geared hub, and have something like a BAJILLION gears....Just a thought.
