As riders reach the stage to set out again their bikes are checked - at the start of the weekend they are issued stickers for their frame, fork and wheels, to make sure they use the same set all weekend (they can apply to the race director to make repairs if needed), any unauthorised changes mean you're out of the race. This is one of the important aspects for bike development in enduro - the bikes need to be able to withstand a weekend of being punished without major repair, unlike World Cup downhill where multiple wheel builds are a common site every weekend.
