Why is he so good. Why can't I do that?!

beacuse you werent put on a bike before you could walk, exposed to the modern bike community before you stopped using diapers, and given the latest kid bike technology. dont worry its just something called life =).

this kid is the beginning of a new level of mtb. cant wait to see what he can do when he starts riding 26" wheels

Helps when your father runs Whistler Bike Park too! Seeing this kid shred Brown Snake from the chairlift blew me away last year. Definitely part of the new level.

Top reason probably being that falling hurts so much more when you're fully grown. Gravity is less forgiving when you're an adult. But yeah, I don't even know if you could get a bike this sized with a properly fitted suspension fork. That is a bad-ass bike.

Because we are old and do not want to miss work for six months

Plus, younger kids' bones are made of rubber, so if he does fall, he's bounces straight back up onto that bike.

 Why is he so good?

He's a very lucky kid, hundreds of hours in the foam pit, free lift pass every season, spent more time on a bike than most adults, pro coaching... He'll probably burn out when he hits 16, gets a car, discovers alcohol and finds a girl Wink

Hes so good because he sticks his tongue out to concentrate just like Michael Jordan did when he dunked from half court lol. This is pure awesome though!
  • 14 1
He is good, because he don't have excuses like, job, age, time, money, bike. He only want make it.

Don't bite off your tongue kid!

Hopefully he'll enjoy competitions as much as just shredding for fun, can he race in bc yet?

Come on guys, a little less hating on the kid wouldn't hurt. Obviously growing up in whistler and having the type of access he does doesn't hurt, but let's not take away the fact that even for a kid, he's put a lot of time and hard work into progressing his riding. I think it's awesome to see. Anybody who has been to whistler knows how much progression can be had in just a weeks time. Imagine if it was your backyard.
