I suggested they should buy the linkage from S C just like Intense did , or even the EVO link , i suggested the same thing to (H)ellsworth as well , they didnt buy it ...

I liked the fury carbon! (though I am sure when/if this is made in carbon it will look fine, just wished they continued in that vein...)

Ah well, bring on the future!

(...fingerscrossed...)

It's still a prototype, give it time to progress and grow. I'm sure it won't look as rudimentary as this one. Besides, GT designs have always been polarizing, you either like em or you hate em.

I always liked GT but this bike looks like a rendering made by a 4 year old !!!...what good is it to make a prototype if the real thing will look nothing like it ???...@prancisfena, don't you think that the new Kona carbon, 9.9, Evil, V10.2c, etc, etc, first prototypes pretty much looked the same as the final product ???...of course they did, I just don't understand what exactly they are testing with this 'first drawing' if the final product will be quite different ???...

I didn't say they'd change the suspension design on it - i was referring more to the tube profiles. I ain't forcing you to fall in love with it so tone it down a bit mr smarty pants.

nobody talked about changing the suspension design here, what exactly are you talking about ???...

"Although GT says that the aluminum frame is still in the prototype stage, it does sport some very clean details - hydroformed tube sections and shapely looking shock mounts - that have us believing that the production version won't stray much from what is shown here. And while you'd be hard pressed to find a rider who is a fan of the appearance of the current production Force, Dan's bike is a definite improvement visually."

I'm fan of the current Force... I used to ride one (still own one but the frame is for sale Big Grin ). @FastDHR was wrong to expect the looks to be different once they start production though. HAHA.

hahaha,,,the carbon version that will be presented to the dealers looks almost nothing like that proto that Dan is still racing,... wouldn't it be better if he could have spent some time testing the real frame with fsr that will be sold to the public ???....maybe the bike pictured was a different version altogether ?!?...one thing is for sure, the carbon version looks amazing and the new top tube is just gorgeous !!!...

HAHA you were the first guy that came to mind when I saw those frames hahaha Big Grin Glad you like 'em. Is it an FSR though? Really couldn't understand the linkages and the suspension design from the blurry photos. hahaha.
