Why are some SRAM sponsored riders still using the "old" G3CS rotors ??! better performance ? more heat shedding ?

These are even older actually, G2CS. Maybe it performs better than later models.

Perhaps. It seems that the G2CS rotors have been in use since the 09 or 10's World Cup.
