I'm not looking forward to rampage as much this year. It's just red bull taking advantage of gnarly and talented riders for publicity and marketing. Even though the riders are there by choice, I'm sure red bull has ulterior motives, although they will never admit it.

Red Bull have alterior motives? They are there as sponsors to market their product to a global community watching. I don't think that there is anything clandestine in what they're doing, it's purely a marketing opportunity.

I hear what you're saying but are all other events like the Urban Downhill or UCI events covered by their own insurance for all competitors?

I say we stop speculating on "what's best for the riders" until we hear more from them. They're the ones putting their asses on the line, not us.
