How Many Suspension Adjustments do You Actually Need?

Choose all that apply

if pressure is adjustable, low speed rebound _must_ be linked or adjustable. low speed compression should be adjustable simply because rider weights vary. volume adjustments are nice to have since it can either make the spring rates more consistent through varying pressures, or change rates drastically to fit difference riding styles. the high-speed/end-stroke adjustments can probably be tuned to the average, since a big and/or square edged hit is so much different than a weight transfer that rider weight becomes a smaller piece of the equation. remotes belong only on race bikes, and probably only XC race bikes.

So I found my self ridding many different types of styles with the same DH bike. Though it had a lot of information that came along with my suspension The only issues I have had were in adjustable travel. Or ATA so I spoke to a rep at a local event and he just switched the cartage out in an hour. Amazing work thanks Ronnie. So it may not be you shock of your style or more then you can admit to but their are a few good reasons for the setting. If I go on a enduro ride in the morning. Then do some drop runs on the DH trails Then go free ride off some big hit cliffs. May be Finnish off ripping some monster slalom. Remember All on he same bike, then you may need all thoughs setting. It was inconvenient that I had to preset my suspension for each type of riding. Cheers thanks E 13 The Hive Petaluma CA

All I need is my CTD with the red and blue nobs that make the fork go down and back up slowly or fast.

Presumably any extra adjustments carry some weight, cost, and maintenance complexity penalty, so for pro DH, pile 'em all on, but for XC or casual trail riding, maybe not.

I got mine to a point that works, and I never touch it. I can hardly discern the difference between settings. Is that bad? I don't know, but it works.
