Is Crankworx right to bypass Heckler's Rock in 2017?

While Crankworx has every right to close down Heckler's Rock, especially due to obvious safety and legal concerns, do you think they should?

If they feel it is a safety concern then put a police presence up there to shut down the drunk and disorderly conduct and get back to the good clean fun of heckling & cheering on riders as they fly by hanging on for dear life racing for first place. I think Crankworx management should step and manage the event which includes your spectators and stop letting the few rowdy ones spoil the clean fun that is Heckler's Rock.

Two things you don't mess with. Hecklers Rock and A LINE

just put security up there and kick out the few guys ruining the fun for everyone rather than not having it at all

big mesh fence like at hockey arenas, that will stop projectiles but seeing its Whistler they will most likely open a bar there for the day as well!

Getting hit with a beer can will be the least of your worries on the Can Open.

It's pretty frowned upon to hit racers with beer cans... Just the chair

I think they should kick out the drunk guys throwing beers but they should be able to have fun

probably moto dudes, they tend to get a bit rowdy, slip 'em some NA beers... you can take the dude out of moto, but you can't take the moto out of the dude (and dude-etts)

if the riders ask for extra security at the rock, I'm sure the officials would do something, just sayin'
