 Such a flawed poll... why?

I've taken it a little further. I ride a cyclocross bike on local trails regularly to work on fitness and bike handling skills. It's boosted my confidence and skill quite a bit.

I have a 2015 Santa Cruz chemeleon and ride the hell out of it!!! Just as stoked about it as the day I took it home from my local bike shop. Not saying k would never try FS, I just don't think I'll ever be able to afford one!! I would love to have both. Be thankful for what you got!!

Jaid74 nailed it! Learning on a rigid bike is going to help skills more than a suspension bike. All of these advancements in the sport are actually crutches to allow us to feel like we are better riders than we are. That said, Damn bikes are fun these days! But going back to basics can be a hoot also.

Or, might that to be , be aggressive on bike, hardtail its full on power... no energy loss .

Hardtail will teach you stuff that you'll never get the thrill of learning on a FS. The less tech a bike has, the more authentic the riders athleticism is - period. Some people enjoy pushing their bodies, and some people enjoy riding stuff the easy way. Note: I have one hardtail and 2 FS - but would NEVER give my Hardtail up, and after 20 years riding MTB I guess I earned my FS bikes. ;b

My only interest in FS bikes are short travel 26" rides. I have 4 hardtail bikes as it is. If I go FS it will be a Killswitch or Morpheus V-Slope. I don't feel I am missing a thing here.

 What about fully rigid?!?

Whats a hardtail? The REALLY good slopestyle riders are on a FS. The fastest guy going down rides a FS. The best overall mountain biker is ripping on a yeti FS. Yeah, I'll keep my full squish

So flawed. What if I will never ride a full suspension? What if I only ride a hardtail? What if I would never give up my four-season fat bike? I can't even participate in this poll Frown
