Well, I don't ever want a 29er so that's out, the Kona weighs a bomb for a hardtail but has got pedigree, looks and great handling, I've never ever ever like Giant, their bikes are just ugly and the Calibre is complete dross, so I guess that leaves me plumping for the Kona, though in reality I'd pick up a real bargain in the Pinkbike Buysell for £2000 that outperforms any of those junkers.
