I had a forbidden druid which I sold after riding it for a month due to drag, I didn't notice the drag in any gears except in1st and 2nd with a shimano 10-51 casette, for me in that gearing it actually felt harder than pedaling the bike in 3rd or 4th gear

I had a stumpjumper last year. This year i am. On a forbidden druid and i dont notice additional drag. However i removed my lower chain guide which helped reduce some drag and noise. I find that the high pivot climbs and grips better then my stumpy did and the strava times prove it. My start of the year times where average 30 seconds faster on climbs and more on descents. If there is slightly more power loss it is easily overshadowed by how well a high pivot performs.
