Picture two identical bikes, same weight and price, but one has a motor. Which do you pick?

I'm already on board with e-bikes, weight cost and all.
If they're otherwise identical you might as well have a motor.
I'd take the regular bike, thanks. I like to earn my turns.
E-bike? Maybe when I'm 85, have two broken hips and live at the foot of a cliff!

I already have bikes with motors. I'm not against e bikes but I bought a hard tail because I don't like riding my full squish bike on trails that don't need it. I still ride my 20" rigid bike in the woods. So I don't want a motor getting in the way. If I lived in the west... maybe to get way out, but not for the east.

E-Things will always be a curious blasphemy to me. The industry needs to stop referring to them as mountain bikes. They are mopeds.

I'd be somewhere between answer 2 and 3. I'm open do an ebike. Not sure it be my default bike. Current cost doesn't put it on my list just yet.

I’m all for packing in more laps in less time, weight penalty is fine by me.
