Bar none the best bike I've ever had and ridden. It climbs like a hard tail but descends just the way it looks. Even all my Niner friends can't believe it climbs this well with 26" wheels. They wish their 9'ers descended as well.

The 2012 Pivot Mach 5.7 is an Enduro machine. This bike handles every kind of terrain from hill climbs to steep DH trails that make you pucker up! The DW link suspension is one of the best designs out there on the market - many Titles to prove it too... Overall the 5.7 is one hell of a bike, if you have a chance to throw a leg over one, DO IT!

Love This bike, Climbs very well, decends very well. it is now 5 years old and other than regular maintanence it has needed no special attention. upgraded parts: Narrow wide 30t, 42t wolftooth components sproket, rs. reverb 150 post, Easton Haven Carbon wheels. After all this time i still am pushing the bike harder and harder.

This is an amazing machine. It climbs easy and fast and descends like an All-mountain bike! This bike make the other bikes look and feel really bad!

Pivot 2011 Mach 5.7 XTR (MSRP $0) — The best pedaling trail bike on the market just got better. We took the critically acclaimed Mach 5, and completely redesigned it for an even greater rider experience. For starters, we increased the travel to 5.7 inches. Next, we dropped the weight of the bike by half a pound by shaving weight from places like the shock tabs, bottom bracket forging, lower yoke area and drop outs. Yet the Mach 5.7 is 20% stiffer than the Mach 5, thanks to increased diameter top and down tubes on the front triangle, forged C-channel uprights on the rear triangle and beefy 8 cartridge bearings throughout. A lower bottom bracket height, more relaxed geometry and slightly taller headtubes add up to better stability and increased rider confidence on the trail and on the race course.
