This is a fantastic bike with a lot of upsides. The TwinLoc system works great and after a few rides you won't even think about it, it will become like any other control and you will use it. For most trail riding the bike functions perfectly in Reduced mode and full lock really isn't needed. It climbs incredibly well and has traction that never seems to end. The bike is very long and on steep descents it is very stable, the plus tires do slide around a bit more under speed but it is predictable and easy to get used to. Once you get used to how it slides around you can use it to set up for corners. Tire pressure seems to be best around 1.1 bar (16psi), I run tubeless and this has been my go to tire setup. This is not a poppy bike and does its best work sticking to the ground and mashing over gnarly technical terrain. If you buy a bike not only to shred but make a visual statement then this is a great choice.

I've been riding absolutely everything with this bike since 2017. Other than DDBL BLK diamond DH sections on some mountains, this bike is a quiver killer literally. With the geometry set to 160/160 so very early in the industry design characteristics by Scott, this Enduro rig is light and capable. This bike was overlooked in 2017 and is currently sitting in the middle of the current specifications by manufacturers for Enduro specifications implemented for both 27.5 and the 29 that it supports. I run both configurations on this rig and love the 27.5 @2.8 and the 29 @2.5 for different riding conditions throughout the year here in the PNW, as the chip enables the geometry to compensate for proper BB aggressive riding configurations. Moreover, the Twin-Lock for me is a bonus, as the mountains here are long and steep in order to get the payoff. I'm not sure if folks really understand the significance of the twin-lock, as it reduces pedal bob and places the rider in a desirable position for long pedal scenarios. It really does work and I'll never look back. The old expression is you don't know what you're missing until you've tried it. In short, this bike was expensive, but is a bike that was way before its time. I'll be riding this bike for a long time, and happily so! Fantastic product.

bumped up from a genius 710 to the ultimate 900 a year ago, bought from a fellow pinkbiker in Minnesota, im 6'2" and 205, bike handles amazing, light, quick, components are all top end, scotts lockout system works great for the climbs, no stopping or fumbling cuz u forgot to go full squishy on the descent, just a thumb push away, 1 pc bars get some attention for those who notice. geometry is amazing. scott gets not a lot of attention on this side of the pond so take advantage of the deals this fall. u wont be disappointed
