Yeti ASR-7

 This bike is the bomb! Yeti's heritage is legendary; the ASR-7 demonstrates why. Climbs very well for a 32 lb bike. When you turn downhill, the 7 inches of travel soak up anything and everything. It's easy to go fast on this bike.

Support a core manufacturer, buy a Yeti. The big 3 (spclzd, Gnt, Trk) have lots of models but when you compare the components and price point of the ASR 7, it is an incredible value as well. Love the ride, love the attention to detail, love the customer service. Yeti is a no-nonsense bike manufacturer that stands behind their product.

 Plush (fox dhx 5.0) , Xtra-Durable(yeti Pure tubing)... I could go on and on... Let's face it comes down too feel and personal preference I'm not a weight weenie, and im not a racer... Im an avid rider who enjoys technical s as much as invigorating descents, for me this represents the perfect balance between the two.. It's eats up rocks and roots with ease making the feel of most FS bike's feeling jagged and outclassed since I made the switch.. Highly recommended!

 Incredibly versatile bike. I have mine set up with a Talas 180 and dropper post, X0 drive, XTR cranks, blackspire stinger, oro brakes, stans flow wheels, and some beefy tires. Drop the front end down with the talas fork, flip on the pro pedal, and kick some spandex ass. Bring the fork up, turn off the pro pedal, drop the saddle, and leave the shuttle monkeys in the dust. Beware of the frame sizing, they run really big. My only complaint is the rear triangle can handle a 2.3 tire MAX!

 It took me a long time to fall in love with this bike after my previous all mountain rides. I must first point out I am a very heavy and tall rider, 6'3" and 120kg, but still rip with many race podiums. My main issue was with the elusive all round set up. I was instantly impressed with grip levels from the box for downhill but I just couldn't get the machine to climb without front wheel lifting. tried long xc stem 90mm this was a sticking plaster, I have now solved using talas forks and drop them to 115mm for steep techy ascents. Next to go was the poorly damped rp23 (shipped with fast tune) for the new ctd kashima. I now have a bike that is a good climber and not compromised the whole point of it being gravity orientated. I know this is a slow machine compared to the current crop of 'enduro' bikes, but it is my machine of choice for the Megavalanche this year, should be just right.
Beware rear tyre clearance is garbage and really clogs in UK winter. Managed to squeeze a 2.35 Hans Dampf Super Gravity in with 2mm to spare not the stated 2.5" in media reports. the Hans dampfs measure up small like the old maxxis as well.
Anyway I do love my Yeti now but know its limitations too.

 one of the best bikes you could ever own, cant be beat on the uphill or the down, awsome quality and of course colorado bike craftsmanship.

 Awesome Bike, instills confidence and has great handeling. An upgrade for me, and I feel like a better cyclist since riding this frame. Love it, and can not stop grinning.

 Love it! Climbs like a dream and descends great. Only gripe is that RP23 bottoms out easily. Upgraded to DHX RC4. Perfect.

 Loved this bike, my incarnation was with a DHX air shock, and 36s very nice ride. Happy going up, happier going down!
