Bought this due to a mate having one, I was'nt sure about getting one at first but am i glad i did. No more stopping at a bomb hole to lower seat or at the top of a down hill section, Just flick the switch and away you go,no more p*****g about with seat clamp. Make sure you get the bar mounted lever for on the fly seat lowering, no scrapping about under the seat to find the lever.

After a test ride, I just had to get one for my AllMountain ride. Works very well and does just what it is intended to do... only wished I could get an extra 1 1/2" of adjustment out of it. For more serious FR I still have to manually drop the post.

I can recommend the concept but... the post internals become sloppy almost immediately and the seat will turn freely side to side. It drives you crazy but you get used to it. Shouldn't happen though. The internals are exceptionally vulnerable to water and mud. The seal is not very tight and even normal water from a mild wash can get down into the post and honk it up. With that said, the folks at Crank Bros. have fixed it on 3 occasions for me with no questions asked.

great all around post. convenient to use on the trail. could be longer travel. would like the post better if it were 100mm or 125mm
