Fantastic bike to get into the sport with, has everything you need to hang with the fancy bikes but at a great price. Only problem ive had is the derailer hanger. Ive destroyed 4 of them and on the 4th on my derailer shot into my spokes and ended up twisting the frame. Giant was kind enough to send me a new frame, wheel, derailer, ect though and i havent had the problem on the new frame.

bit on the heavy side but has taken everything i've dished out with ease. Descends like a dream and has virtually no bob on the climbs
