 good bike. just a bit steep. very lighweight and climbs pretty good too. even for an occasional bikepark lap its fine but definitely steep for some of the more steep and techy sections

 Yeah I got the 2016 model Advanced 2, its wicked, got rid of the sram guide brakes and went shimano XT and bigger discs

Giant 2017 Trance Advanced 1 (MSRP $4950) — Giant's second-tier model of its best selling AM/trail bike has 140mm of travel in the rear and 150 in its Fox Float 34 fork. Carbon front section with an aluminum rear suspension, this solid build includes Giant's carbon wheels, a Shimano XT one-by drivetrain and XT brakes. Re-configured Maestro suspension is a significant performance plus.
