Kona 2011 Big Kahuna (MSRP $1799) — Designed to tear long stretches of technical singletrack apart, the Big Kahuna sees a host of refinements this year that make it one of the sweetest hard tail 29ers on the market. This year we've incorporated hydroformed tubing and made significant geometry refinements like a zero stack tapered head tube and set back seat post to make the bike stiffer, lighter, and more centered, with increased steering power. The ride sees a RockShox Recon fork, Easton XC 29er wheelset, WTB Valcon saddle, Avid Elixir brakes and a SRAM 10-speed drivetrain.
