Is a very stable and predictable ride, i bought a large and I'm just around 6ft but its quite longer than i anticipated so id go for a medium if i had an option again as in tech style it is not as strong as open flat out tracks with jumps

I own a Supreme Operator with WC Fork and Saints components.. however, it's very similar as per riding experience.. it is a very good bike, simple to drive also for a beginner, Very funny and, most important, she is "true" ..she do what you ask in any condition. A good bike with a good price. Thanks Kona!

2012 Kona Operator - Great component spec. for the price. This bike is very stable but still feels nimble. Geometry feels spot on and the suspension is excellent! The bike gets up to speed quickly but is very easy to control. It's easy to jump and control the air too. Super fun bike.

I've had this bike for over a month and feel i can write a true review. This bike is so playful and when you hop on it you just want to find a flowy trail with berms. Right from the shop the suspension is perfect for me (145 pounds). It is a little bit stiff when it comes the small bump sensitivity but when i start hucking drops i can't find much to improve... and i'm sure most people buying this bike will weigh more then me but i would also like to add im 5' 11" and i got a large. it fits perfect but every one who sits on it talks about how small it is for a large, it works perfect more me but definitely doesn't feel like a large. I've used this from flow to tech and it handles magnificently, it's given me the chance to save some crashes which i shouldn't have got away from. I plan on hitting whistler in the summer and having my first race season on this bike in the spring. I would rate this bike 5 stars as the suspension never quite seems to hit bottom but still feels very plush. if your even thinking about buying this bike and it fits your budget... BUY IT

TOP OF THE LINE! I love this bike, this is one of the most quiet bikes I have ever owned. It is cool how stelthy it is riding and the blue paint is mean as too. Kona knows what the hell they are doing so just buy there bikes. Great bikes for a great price.

Really like the bike. Geometry is spot on and parts spec is good for the price. Rides awesome. The forks are a little soft for my weight and I wish it came with dual ply tires and a direct mount stem. Awesome bike though!

Kona 2011 Operator DH (MSRP $2999) — We took what we learned from the World Championship winning Stab and the freeride revolutionary Stinky, and integrated into new design that is lighter, stiffer, more durable and easier to work on. Oh yeah, it's way sexier too. With a slacker 64-degree head tube angle, new 1.5 zero stack, tapered, internal head tube, mega-sized main pivots, and an axle that slides in from the drive side of the bike so you can adjust/tighten the main pivot, this bike is moon rock needle sweet. The all-new Operator DH features a mix of parts that gives the privateer the ability to race year-in, year-out thanks to Avid Code R brakes and a Boxxer Race fork.
