This bike is the shortest bike i've ever ridden, so the jumps just give you the hangtime. Based on what i've heard, the reason there is an alivio on it is because when you crash and destroy your derailleur, who wants to replace one that cost a million dollars.But the bike is another perfectly crafted Kona DJ bike.

Only had the frame, its really good, light, and comfortable to jump. Looks trick, just a good frame tbh.
Although can ride quite upright if you have smallish forks, so if thats not your riding style maybe not for you, and its quite long, which can be annoying arranging your chain to fit the ajustable dropout, which occasionally comes lose.

it's a great dirt bike almost everyone in kona klump has it.it realy isn't cheap but it is great.i realy like this year's colour.
Great bike! Very strong and it flies like a bird. I have the 08 model but theyare very similar and the kona cowan is definately a bike that gets looks!
decent bike, i like the feel of it. the bb is a bit too high for my liking, and the wheelbase is a bit too long. reasonably strong frame, but like they say.... its a kona.
great dirt jumper but seat post doesn't go as loww as i would like cause it gets wider at the top over all it is a great starter for dirt jumping
the legendary john cowan bike is excellent it has good geometry and is very well made hands up to kona for this one
