This is the perfect fork for anyone into 4X, dirtjumping and park. Its adjustable to the weight of the rider so just set it and go. The only con is it is only 4" of travel, so don't think you can trail ride with it and expect a good ride. Then again you don't buy these to rip up the shore anyways!

 Great fork!
strong and stout!
I have her mounted on a transition double and have raised the travel to 110mm. It rides very smooth yet its very firm for jumping and pumping.
The fork felt great at first but a little too stiff and a little under sprung.
I tried many different set up and ended up adding a coil spring from and old junior t.
now it wonderful!
plush for the first 15mm and ramps up very smooth for the rest. I have the oil level set a little high so she usually only uses about 95mm off of big jumps and drops.
With out the spring it felt too stiff at first but blew through the travel too fast.
So correlating the air and coil toghther has made an outstanding fork.

Last year we built the biggest thing to hit the 4X market. This year it’s even better! Before your next gate drops you need to be on a Marzocchi 4X. Of course, dirt Jumper owned every event it entered. Our best riders use this fork on some of the most relentless trails made by man.

RC3 (3rd Generation R/C Cartridges):
This is Marzocchi’s most advanced technology. The RC3 suspension systems features all the tuning capabilities for the high performance racing and free ride feeling: Rebound adjuster to control the extension, Position Sensitive Compression, High speed and low speed compression controlled automatically by the bottom knob to change the range of compression. On the 888 it also features volume adjust. Change the internal air volume to virtually increase oil level.

• Travel - 100mm

Look rad, light, feel solid, expensive in an age where you pay for what you get.. cant go wrong.

the stiffness is easily adjusted to suit your style, the travel is perfect for dj/park, looks great, my mate has cased and slaughtered these for over a year and they have held up perfectly.

This is the perfect fork for anyone into 4X. I love the color of white legs with black travel pie. Very smooth, light weight. This fork is a great fork if you just want something thats going to be cheap and work suprisingly well. I dont adjust my forks alot so it is perfect for me.

i have one from 2007. It works, like it should. Simple construction, resistant, used in street and park with 8 bars in receptacles. Got hits more than thousands times and still giving its best.

I have the 2007 ones and I think they are awsome, best fork I ever rode. Miles better than the DJ series, but you get what you pay for I guess.

Marzocchi MTB 4X World Cup (MSRP $599) — "Last year we built the biggest thing to hit the 4X market. This year it’s even better! Before your next gate drops you need to be on a Marzocchi 4X. Specifications Compare to other Forks

Release Date 2009
Price $599
Weight 2440 g
Color Options White
Travel 100 mm
Travel - refers to the distance the wheel can move in respect to the frame. Typically measured in millimeters, most forks range from 80 to 203 mm of travel
Spring Coil
Crown Single
Rebound Yes
Rebound - is how quick your fork returns to a fully extended position after being compressed. Almost all after-market forks feature external rebound adjustment for easy fine tuning.
Stanchion material 32mm Nickel Coated Alloy Tapered Stanchions
Steer Tube 1.125
Damping Rc3
Damping - The process of absorbing the energy of impacts transmitted through the forks or rear shock during the compression stroke, and absorbing the energy of the spring during the rebound stroke.
DropOut Options 20mm
Compression Hi-Lo Auto Compression Adj Air Preload
Compression - This is the damping circuit that absorbs the compression energy force on the damper. Compression damping is used to adjust how quickly a fork or rear shock compresses when hitting a bump, and is adjustable on some products. When compression damping is too soft, this condition allows most of the available travel to be used without attaining control of the wheel. When it's adjusted too firmly, the wheel will jump or "dance" about when hitting small bumps, again failing to gain control of the wheel.
