light, fast, all-round riding. Sounds good to me! I've always riden Marz. and always had the best service from Naz and the crew over in NorthVan. Thanks guys. I like this fork because it truely is built like a rocketship. The reason you're paying nearly a $ grand $ for it, is because it's been hand-built with only the best materials available, tested and confirmed for over a year before even being released in the market 2 years later. Uhmm, I wonder what 2015 forks look like right now.

Really the softest and most durable forks you could get for under 1000 dollars.I have a second hand set and they perform just as well as one straight out of the box. Personally i find them better than the Fox talas. The weight isnt bad also and the build quality is next level. The best forks you can buy

Marzocchi MTB 55 Ata Micro (MSRP $949) — "Marzocchi’s built the ultimate all-around performer. It’s more than just an all-mountain fork. This is the fork for uphills, downhills and even light freeride. Just point it and it will go. The 55 series has as much technology as a NASA rocket and it’s probably just as fast."

Specifications Compare to other Forks

Price $949
Weight 2347 g
Color Options White
Travel 125/165 mm
Travel - refers to the distance the wheel can move in respect to the frame. Typically measured in millimeters, most forks range from 80 to 203 mm of travel
Spring Coil
Crown Single
Rebound Yes
Rebound - is how quick your fork returns to a fully extended position after being compressed. Almost all after-market forks feature external rebound adjustment for easy fine tuning.
Stanchion material 35mm Nickel Coated
Steer Tube 1.125
Damping Tst Micro
Damping - The process of absorbing the energy of impacts transmitted through the forks or rear shock during the compression stroke, and absorbing the energy of the spring during the rebound stroke.
DropOut Options 20mm
Compression Lock Out, Micro Adj. Terrain Selection Technology
Compression - This is the damping circuit that absorbs the compression energy force on the damper. Compression damping is used to adjust how quickly a fork or rear shock compresses when hitting a bump, and is adjustable on some products. When compression damping is too soft, this condition allows most of the available travel to be used without attaining control of the wheel. When it's adjusted too firmly, the wheel will jump or "dance" about when hitting small bumps, again failing to gain control of the wheel.
