preeviously owened minions. they were good but not too fast rolling. when i got these i was worried that there wouldnt be enough grip round the corners but the ramped edges hold out corners amazingly.if they're good enough for world cup racers then there good enough for me!

I bought the single ply DH High Roller, I ran it today for the first time, I had the tyre quite hard to be safe but still did not struggle for grip once, on the way home from the trails on the road I could hear that these tyres have great rolling resistance and were almost silent. I have found no cons!

Bought these when I discovered that the tyres on my new bike have less traction than a horse on an ice-rink. On my first ride I took them on an insanely muddy clay trail, not once did I lose traction and I was the only one that didn't have to constantly stop and clear my arches. All in all a great tyre.

This tire takes anything you through at it i first bought the ST 2.35 and it performed well and had loads of grip on the dry stuff and in the mud i have reacently bought the maxx pro 2.7 and it works well on soft, mud and tarmac but it doesnt have the grip on the dry small shingle stuff but apart from that i highly recomend this tire

My new favourite tire; hands down. The 2.35 is a bit smaller than I typically run for all-mountain riding. I am going to run it for a bit, but I may put a 2.5 up front. I love the tread pattern, and the tire is not super heavy like some of the maxxis tires are.

I run this tyre on the rear of my hardtail (minion dhf up front). powering up hills, be them wet mud, slippery rocks/roots and the likes, is a doddle. rarely breaks loose and rolls nicely withough feeling excessively draggy for the grip it provides. corner grip seems ok to me, but i am an average rider and by no means push my bike or tyres to the limits. i accidentally picked up a 42a compound and tbh, i love it. riding steep lines on damp rocks/boulders etc is a synch, more grip than i will ever be able exploit. time will tell on how long it lasts on the rear, but so far im tempted to get a 42a minion for the front when the time comes. afterall, confidence is key!

These tyres are awesome on hard pack and dry conditions they are however not as good in loose or wet conditions especially if you dare run it on the front in wet it has a tendency to loose grip and slide and can often find yourself picking yourself up out of the dirt.

Very good tire, and you have maximum grip! It's awesome for freeride, slopestyle, northshore and downhill. These are awesome, I tell you. A bit heavy, but that's the price you have to pay ;-) . It makes your bike role faster (on dirt). On concrete, they make a weird sound if you steer, but it's a cool sound Razz .

Our most popular and versatile mountain bike tire, the High Roller's ramped leading edges roll fast, while the side lugs offer stability at speed and a sharp edge to hold corners. The grooved center knobs provide straight-line control. The High Roller's tread design translates well to all mountain bike disciplines, including downhill, cross country, and freeride.3C Triple Compound Technology in 26x2.50 (TB4301600) Ramped knob design - front or rear Hardpack, loose-over-hardpack, medium soil, loose terrain Lightweight single ply casing.

Very nice for downhill

the best tire for the rear i have ever used on my dh/freeride bike in utah conditions where you can go from roots and rocks to lose dirt and gravel all on the same trail and have no doubts about being able to stop or hold tight to the berms.

I have a set on my bike at the moment, and i have had them for a year and a half, and they have been through a lot of offroad, and on road riding, and they havent even worn down, ive never had a puncture with these on, they have excellent grip, turning ability and stability, are extremely fast offroad, in all conditions except super thick mud, in mud, damp ground and dusty conditions the handling on the tires is very predictable, my best set to date, i higly recomend any one who does offroading of a downhill, or hardcore trail riding to get these, absoulutely brilliant.

Maxxis high roller what a tire went for this because i wanted a tough tire. i was getting jarred off with bloody pinch flat punctures riding a wales, and wanted a tire that didn't feel like the tire was rolling around on the rim. i went for the two ply and had have had no trouble with flats ever since.

this has to be the best tire I've ever owned, ever. it rolls super fast, while still gripping into the loose stuff as you pedal. in the corners the side knobs dig in spectacularly and you can lay the bike down without worrying. I've ran this threw thick mud and its held up perfect.

A very fast running tyre but gives maximum grip and handles wet, muddy or loose tracks. They come with Dual Ply walls, which are two 60 tpi (threads per inch) casings vulcanized with butyl rubber reinforced sidewalls construct Maxxis downhill casings, which are world renowned for performance and reliability. Ive had no checks or punctures while riding or racing this tyre. Also from quite a cheap price stating at £27.99. And also availible in the maxxpro which is a slightly harder compound which doesn't wear out as quick as the SuperTacky but dosn't give as much grip.

Super Tacky- compound (42a) to address the wet, muddy courses.
Slow Reezay- compound (40a) which allow's the tire to rebound much slower than a conventional tire, offering maximum grip and is the softest compound available.

I would higly reccomend this product as it is very reliable and gives a excellent preformance.

This all I run on my DH/FR bike. Its a great tire. The knobs down the middle allow the tire to stop on a dime. And also allow them to roll fast and easy while at the same time you can lay it over and the side knobs will grip.

For me the best allrounding freeride/downhill tire, ride only them when it is dry or a bit wet, super grip in berms, okay you´ve got other ones for less rolling resistance like the minion or ardent but don´t think that there is another tire that can cover so many aspects so good

Fantastic tyre - fast rolling offering dependable traction in both dry and slightly wet conditions - I've used both the 2.5 double ply for downhill duty and the 2.35 single ply for more freeride / jumpy stuff... absolutely love them!... and I've every confidence in them!... generally go for the Super Tacky as I favour grip above rolling resistance but do have a 60a that I'll run on the rear of my hardtail in the summer months... all round great tyre...
