I have just bought a brand new A-line 2009, and this officially is the greatest bike I've ever ridden, though it's a bit weird to handle in the beginning, after a few kilometers, it happens to be an awesome bike. The Code 5 brakes are awesomly powerful, the suspensions work great and it doesn't weight much. Just great

Road this bike for an hour or so on one of my local trails. As Norco said "Low and Fast", handle extremely well ripping through the berms. As expected it was a bitch to get to the top, but once it was up, there was no stopping it coming down.

I purchased a 2009 Norco A-line as shown in the picture, and it is a great bike! Can handle whatever you throw at it, rocks, drops, jumps, etc. I would may suggest putting lighter parts on it though since fully stock A-lines and 46lbs, and it is not the greatest for uphill but what do you expect it's a downhill bike!

bike is AMAZING, i dont know where to start. i have a 2006 a-line, with a few custom touchs. it rides anything you can throw at it super smooth! the 8" setting gives the geo more of a racy feel, while the 9" is super plush feeling. the bike handles extremely well, basically a point and pedal kind of rig.

I purchased this bike a month ago and I gave it a try this weekend. This bike is amazing. Feeling great on drops, jumps, rock gardens...everything! Like everybody knows, I suggest to put lighter parts on. I changed the forks for a 2010 BoXXer Race and the shocks for a DHX Air and lost 3.25 pounds. I also suggest to change to a SRAM X9 instead of a X7, easier to adjust.
So I recommend this bike to anyone wants to get a lot for 3400$ You can't go wrong with this bike.

this bike is super awesome, i have an '05 but i've ridden the '08, such a solid bike, i can't break it... yet, the frame doesn't scratch easy either. Norco did a great job with selecting components, the fox dhx and 888's are great!!!! love the SRAM!

Lovely bikes would advise some slightly lighter parts aas they can be heavy but they will take everything you can throw at them and more i would say get an older 06 07 one too as i dont like the hydroforming and bending metal like the new ones only weakens the structure but thats just my opinion

The photo is horrible and make the bike look like sh*t. I always has liked Norco but after I saw their new models for 2009 I decided my new bike wasn't going to be a Norco but them...

Them there she was and was gorgeous! Now I'm the owner of a Norco A-line 2009 and I'm very happy with the purchase.

Very good downhill bike.I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to get into downhill. It is definitley one of the best downhill bikes out there. i don't downhill but it seems fairly heavy.

Beast of a machine, can handle some awesome stuff. Although the Specs on here state it has Truvativ Hussefelt bars, mine actuallty came with Funn Fatboys (which I must say are a beast also).

This bottomless feeling that only 9" of travel provide. I own the frame only and but I found it perfect to build custom DH ride, less than 20kg (44lbs).
