I got my Sight LE 9 months ago and I've been fortunate enough to have ridden it on all sorts of trails. From fast and flowy XC trails with lots of climbs to steep rocky technical big mountain trails and I continue to be amazed at the Sight's ability to handle anything I throw at it. I've owned several well respected FS XC race bikes and this trail/AM bike (with 160mm up front and 140mm out back) climbs just as well as any of them, I kid you not! 160mm up front?? Yeah I did swap out the Revelation for a Pike, and man the downhills are so much more fun and confidence inspiring with the Pike out front. The Sight really is a bike that can handle most terrain. The XX1 drive train is incredible in it's preciseness, ruggedness, versatility and overall aesthetics. I also love the attention to detail on this bike, right down to the cool 3 piece internal cable ports (with different sizes for shifter and brake cables) to keep water and dirt out of the frame. A stark contrast to some brands which just have a hole in their carbon or alloy frame and a cable running through it.The only component or part I can really complain about is the stock Ergon grips, but then that might be personal. For the riding I like to do (a mix of XC and very technical trails) I wanted a trail bike with a very All Mountain attitude, so the Pike and a set of wider and stiffer rims and tires were a necessary change. If you just want a super fast and crazy light trail bike that can handle most trails, then the stock Sight will not disappoint!
