Very good quality fork, came stock on my 2011 Voodoo Canzo. Excellent preload settings, lock out leaves a little to be desired but I don't have any need for it anyway. The Maxle Lite thru-axle makes quick wheel removal a doddle although when putting the axle back through be careful not to screw it too tight because the part you wedge the quick release into isn't very strong and new axles cost way more than they're worth given how simple they are. The 1.5" to 1 1/8" taper gives you the extra strength to hit those rough sections.

Running this fork on the front of my SC Nickel @ 150mm w/ 20 TA. Definitely a very stout/strong fork. A step up would be the Lyrik but travel would be overkill for the Nickel. Overall, very happy with this fork. Good job Rockshox, per usual.

RockShox 2011 Sektor RL Solo Air (MSRP $0) - THE RIGHT FORK FOR ANY SINGLETRACK MISSION. Offering a bevy of damper and spring options, including Motion Control, TurnKey, Coil U-Turn and Solo Air, Sektor remains the clear choice for real-world trail bikes and real-world riders. When what’s around the bend remains to be seen, the Sektor’s stout 32mm upper tubes, Maxle Lite options and external rebound adjustment give you the control and responsiveness to explore at speed.

Through and through an excellent fork. I have the 140 RL soloair version and it is the perfect matchup of plush vs. stiff and the adjustability is noticeable. I will buy another if I bust this one, lol... I am not the worlds best rider, but I DO ride just about everything in my path.

Specifications Compare to other Forks

Price
Weight 1837 g
Color Options Black, Diffusion Black, White
Travel 130/140/150 mm
Travel - refers to the distance the wheel can move in respect to the frame. Typically measured in millimeters, most forks range from 80 to 203 mm of travel
Spring Air
Crown Single
Body Type Magnesium
Rebound External Rebound
Rebound - is how quick your fork returns to a fully extended position after being compressed. Almost all after-market forks feature external rebound adjustment for easy fine tuning.
Stanchion material 7000 Series Straight Wall Aluminum, Low Friction Anodized
Steer Tube 1.125
Damping Motion Control
Damping - The process of absorbing the energy of impacts transmitted through the forks or rear shock during the compression stroke, and absorbing the energy of the spring during the rebound stroke.
DropOut Options Maxle
Compression Low Speed Compression
Compression - This is the damping circuit that absorbs the compression energy force on the damper. Compression damping is used to adjust how quickly a fork or rear shock compresses when hitting a bump, and is adjustable on some products. When compression damping is too soft, this condition allows most of the available travel to be used without attaining control of the wheel. When it's adjusted too firmly, the wheel will jump or "dance" about when hitting small bumps, again failing to gain control of the wheel.
