 Simply awesome.
These coil versions are 'fit and forget' with only minor adjustments needed while out on the trails to get the best from them. They are adjustable for travel, rebound and high and low speed compression damping.
They shrug off big-hit abuse and I can't reccomend them highly enough.

i had RS Totem before this and it wass pretty good fork. but then i wanted some lighter and lower fork so i choose lyrik. i bought it very cheap with 1.5" steerer and it is fantastic. good for freeride and i can also make from it dirtjump fork. great fork! (i have model 200Cool

Used this fork for about 2 months now, it has more than enough adjustabilty for any user. Can wind it down to 100mm for any (and rare occasions)climbing, and fully extend it for smooth decents. Beefy build and Maxal makes sure that it stays where you put it! The 2010 version which I have includes the High and Low speed compression so you can fine tune it to anything.
Weight though is the only downside but what do you expect with a Coil, 160mm fork?

Stiff, strong, adjustable, light. It is the best fork I have ever ridden. Perfect for AM and light Freeride/Downhill. I paid around $500 new. The maxle is great too!

The travel adjust is great; nice aluminum knobs and you can't beat the maxle for convenience.
Super smooth and relatively mainenance free!

Compression low speed compression
Compression - This is the damping circuit that absorbs the compression energy force on the damper. Compression damping is used to adjust how quickly a fork or rear shock compresses when hitting a bump, and is adjustable on some products. When compression damping is too soft, this condition allows most of the available travel to be used without attaining control of the wheel. When it's adjusted too firmly, the wheel will jump or "dance" about when hitting small bumps, again failing to gain control of the wheel.
