This shock feels great..! Never had a problem with it. No bottom outs ever, so far. The coil itself is quite heavy so i'd recommend getting a Ti coil if you want to save on the weight, and it just feels better too.
Be sure to note that Vivid uses a specific coil sizing so coils from or meant for other brands like Fox, Marz, etc won't fit it. Vivid sizing only...

one of the best shocks out there Its super plush and tuneable. its nice having the beginning and ending stroke rebound adjustments. I dont think there is one thing bad about it, works great.

I had an amazing experience with the vivid but the bad thing is that after 5 months of riding i broke it. after that i put a manitou metel on my bike and the overall suspension performance on my bike went down

Is a great shox. maybe more for entry level but still do a great job for its price. Its less reliable than other and stuff but yeah feel free to buy it if you are short on money. you wont regret it.

 Feels super plush.
Eats up anything in it's way.
Fast and Slow rebound adjust is the best thing since sliced bread. It really works well.
No pedal platform means no spike on fast bumps, I love it!
