This is a pretty fun bike, its definately a bike you would want to get to just get into the sport, being the are very cheap and easy to come by. I love it but if i could afford a little better bike that would be nice! Needs alot of aftermarket parts to get the weight down but, i ride mine like it was stolen and she never lets me down!!!

Pros: Durable, fun, gets the job done,

Cons: Heavy, really really heavy. Stock components arent anything special

Specialized P.1 (MSRP $940) - P. BIKES ARE A LIFESTYLE, born and bred with the integrity to push the limits of physics at your favorite jumps, streets and skate parks. All-over cold forgings, super short chainstays, high-riser jump bars and short extension stems make P. bikes durable and nimble enough to keep you moving up, not breaking down.

This is my Dj it is amazing! great orignal paint job, many to chose from. Also a very good stater for a Dj not to expensive and does everything( Trails, Jumping and street)I have never bought a specialized before buying this P AND i love it! If you start on this bike then if you get better you can move up on the scale of P bikes from specialized.

I Recommend This Bike To Everyone With A Bit Of Money. Guys Listen To Me Yher My Mate Is Lucky Enought To Have 2 Of These Babys, Yes Thats Right 2 And I Will Promiss You There Is Nouthing Out There For You That Offers You As Much Confort, Ride Ease And Is As Nice For This Amount Of Money At All Apart From A Kona Stinky But The Price Is Rediciolous And Its Huge And It Isnt That Good Actually So If You Have Money Get One.

i got this bike 8 mounths ago through my team. its a solid bike. realliy nise for just old DJs. It feels really close to like your riding a BMX bike. Overall good bikes
the bads on this bike is the gears, for me, are a little too easy.

Pros: SUPER SUPER strong, great geometry, great parts even when stock (except '08 hubs), single speed simplicity

Cons: A tad bit heavy ('08 model 33lbs.), cones become loose easily on stock hubs (on the '08 model at least), could use a better fork, tires slippery on skate ramps etc.

Good bike, rides nice, jumps well, changed pedals and handlebars also took off front brake. If you are smooth on the dj's the wheels should hold up but I could see them having problems if you go too hard on them I'm 220lbs and they seem to be holding up so far.

hands down best dj bike for the price anywhere. when u go big on djs it loves it, when u smash trails it takes it, and when u hit the streets it beats all. even though its single speed it peddles like a beast. i feel like i could own this bike forever and never get tired of it.

Great Frame, Nice And Strong, Need To Change Loads Of Things To Make It A Good Bike, Wheels Buckle Very Easily Bottom Bracket Knackered Quickly. It Is A Good Bike, But Have Money Spare For When Parts Go Wrong, (And They Are Bound To!)

I bought this bike a couple of months ago and i cant stop riding it! Nice short chainstays make manualing a breeze but it doesnt seem to effect the handling at speed as you would expect so bigger sets arnt a problem!
BUY THIS BIKE!

This bike is a good bike for the price. The geo is a little funky when you're trying to ride trials but is spot on when you're on the jumps and parks. It doesn't like the trails because of the short wheelbase from what I can feel. One of the better hardtails I've owned.

This is a good bike because you can dirtjump with it, ride street and more. Its a inexpensive luxury that is worth all the money new or used. I've had mine a month, and sorry to say but, i've riden her like a b*tch, no problems so far.

I own it, I LOVE IT! - Backtrailsbiker

 love my P1

it seems to be a bike that can handle anything and its so fun too ride. Mine was second hand and upgraded alot, but that is the fun of being a biker, if the frame lasts and it feels good then upgrade the components to keep it felling fresh

got it, love it... it took lots of modifications to get the weight down though, it starts at almost 40 pounds... drop the front brake, DJ, park, and UA riders don't need it, get a lighter fork the DJ3 weighs a ton... i opted for an X-Fusion Velvet R and do yourself a favor, get a lighter crankset too, AKA NOT CHRO-MO

Amazing, very strong and light! Very amazing for DJ/Street. Only thing is the rims are a little cheap and the tires are thin, i would go with holy rollers or small block 8s. just cheap upgrades like that make the P1 a pure tank of a bike!

I bought this bike about a week ago. My friend has am '08 of this model. His rims bent on his 3rd ride so i hope my rims arent that cheesy. So far so good. I really like the small sprocket. Smile

had the 2010 p1 for about two months and its been incredible bike. the dj3 isnt too adjustable, more of a set and go type fork. the bike has been nothing but reliable and its tough as nails.

I test rode this bike and was pleasently pleased to find that it is the easiest bike to manual ever. great seat tube design, smooth and pretty, this bike is almost worth it, but just buy a used 08, or wait till next year

Great bike to start off on dirt jumping or street. Maybe a bit too good. But I love everything about it. But I would recomend to buy new brakes and forks if your feeling that your progressing faster than your bike.

I like my p1 but I don't like a few things about it.

First is the chain tensioners are dumb. I have no idea why they are even there, its not like your going to slip your wheel back and forth from torque and you certainly don't need screws to get it accurate, dumb if you ask me. I also don't like the ISCG tabs, I guess someone might want to run a front chain tensioner, hammershcmitd or something but it seems like added bulk on a bike you want to be light and nimble. Other than that I like the bike as a whole. Oh yea except for the offset hub positon, another lame if you ask me.

Frame is burly cromoly, geo is playful with a 95mm Pike. super easy to manual, feels stable in the air. rides better than a similarly equipped Kona Bass HT, Azonic Steelhead, or GT dirt jump frame.

I've had this bike for about 4-5 months. So far it has been great.
Pros: very light, very durable (broke my arm on it and it still rides great!)
Cons: wimpy back rim (had it to replaced twice)

I think as a collective this is one of the best dirt jump completes out there. The only issue is the trash rims but other than that, it is a dope huck bike

great bike, dirt, street, park, it can handle it. takes a week or so to wear in. the tyres are quite weak so punctures are likely but offer great grip. 2010 model is exellent
